New volunteers are being sought to support this year’s Poppy Appeal.
The Royal British Legion is calling on people in Fareham to help organise the annual fundraising campaign, which supports veterans and the Armed Forces community.
Claire, Poppy Appeal manager for south Hampshire, said: "We would encourage anyone who is interested in volunteering for the Poppy Appeal to get in touch with us to find out more."
Organiser roles involve distributing poppy boxes, managing teams of volunteers, and counting donations.
The Royal British Legion said full training and ongoing support will be provided to all volunteers.
Those interested in volunteering can contact the Royal British Legion on 0345 845 1945 or visit rbl.org.uk/poppyappealvolunteer.
The Poppy Appeal runs each year in the lead-up to Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday.
Baz Seymour, a veteran supported by the charity, said: "Without the work of the RBL’s volunteers and collectors during the Poppy Appeal, this might never have been possible."
