Two men have been jailed after a brutal assault in Lee-on-the-Solent that left a man with a bleed on the brain.
Luke Weaver, 21, and Joshua Shergold, 19, were sentenced after assaulting a man in his 30s on Skipper Way on October 18, 2024.
The victim was left with a bleed on the brain and with serious facial injuries after he was was knocked to the ground, punched, kicked, and stamped on.

Sophie Close, police investigator, said: "This was a vicious attack which left a man with a bleed on the brain and facial fractures.
"I hope the convictions and sentences passed send a message that we do not want violence in our town, and we will take robust action against anyone involved in this type of behaviour."
Appearing at Portsmouth Crown Court on Tuesday, June 24, Shergold, of Corsair Close, Lee-on-the-Solent, was jailed for 56 months, while Weaver, of Trent Way, Lee-on-the-Solent, received a four-year sentence.
