Television comedy favourites are set to bring festive cheer to the stage.

Sue Holderness and Tyger Drew-Honey will star in this year’s pantomime at Fareham Live, bringing a fresh twist to the classic tale of Beauty and the Beast.

Sue, best known for her role as Marlene in Only Fools and Horses, will play the villainous Marlene the Malevolent.

She said: "I am delighted to be terrifying the good people of Fareham and beyond as the wicked Marlene the Malevolent.

"I hope to make the audiences chuckle too and I’m looking forward to sharing the magic with the audiences this Christmas, oh yes I am."

Joining her on stage is Tyger Drew-Honey, known for his roles in Outnumbered and Cuckoo, who will play the arrogant Gaston.

Tyger said: "I am delighted to be a part of this year’s production of Beauty and the Beast at the fantastic new Fareham Live.

"It will be my first panto not playing a prince and I can’t wait to get my teeth stuck into something new, and I’m so looking forward to seeing you all there."

They will be joined by Britain’s Got Talent finalist and impressionist Paul Burling, who returns by popular demand as French Frank.

The show runs from December 12, 2025, to January 4, 2026.

Produced by Imagine Theatre, the pantomime promises plenty of laughs, music, and magic for audiences of all ages.

Tickets are on sale now and can be booked at farehamlive.com.

Stephan Stockton, venue director for Fareham Live, said: "We’re incredibly excited to welcome both Sue Holderness and Tyger Drew-Honey to Fareham Live for this year’s pantomime, Beauty and the Beast.

"With such well-loved names joining us on stage, audiences are in for a truly magical treat this Christmas.

"Following the brilliant response to last year’s panto, we will be bringing even more festive joy to Fareham in this season."

The show tells the story of an arrogant prince cursed to live as a beast, who must find true love before the last petal falls from a magic rose.
