A mum-of-two is appealing for donations to support her children after being diagnosed with cancer at just 24.
Bursledon mum Meghan Charlton-Clark was pregnant with her first daughter when she noticed a large and concerning lump on her neck in the summer of 2022.
After a number of tests, including an ultrasound, Meghan was told she had nothing to worry about.
In December she asked her doctor to remove the lump as it was causing her pain and discomfort - and just a few months later her life was flipped on its head as she was told the lump was cancer of unknown primary.
Meghan said: "I was left in a state of extreme shock - I have a two-year-old and an eight month old baby to look after so this news was just devastating for me and my family.
"I was given two options before I was told it was cancer - that it could be removed or we could monitor it. If I had not decided to remove it I may still not know what it was.
"Its also a cancer of unknown primary. That means that the cancer originated somewhere else in my body."

Meghan has had to have her tonsils removed, had a biopsy on her tongue, have her adenoids removed and undergone as selective neck dissection.

Meghan added: "I'm having to miss out on spending so much time with my daughters Raya and Eden because I'm constantly at the hospital.
"On July 7, I'm due to start proton beam therapy in London which will last seven weeks - we are looking to raise some money for my daughters future while I'm getting treatment and support my husband looking after the girls.
"When we first launched the Go Fund Me, I didn't expect to get much but the support has been overwhelming.
"Old friends that I lost contact with many years ago have all come to my support and donated - I want to say a huge thank you to those people and anyone who is willing to donate."
