An inquest has opened into the death of an oil refinery worker in the New Forest.
Marek Kryztof Galeza, 54, of Lower Woodside, Lymington, died at his home on March 1, a court heard.
The inquest into Mr Galeza's death was opened at Winchester Coroners' Court on Tuesday, June 24, by acting senior coroner Jason Pegg.

Mr Pegg said that Mr Galeza was a Polish man who had moved to the UK for work near the end of 2024. The coroner added that Mr Galeza worked at an oil refinery, and lived in shared accommodation with his brother and a friend.
The preliminary cause of death has been given as ischemic heart disease and alcohol intoxication.
Mr Pegg adjourned the inquest to February 4, 2026.
