The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court:

VITALIJS CINKA, 37, of Radcliffe Road, Southampton, pleaded guilty to two counts of stealing meat from M&S Simply Food at Westquay Shopping Centre in Southampton on January 28 2025 and February 1 2025. Also pleaded guilty to assault by beating at M&S on February 1. Remanded on conditional bail until November 28 2025.

BOSTON WARD, 33, of Wilton Avenue, Southampton, pleaded guilty to assault with intent to resist arrest at Hedge End Retail Park on February 21 2024.£120 with £400 costs and £48 victim services surcharge. Also told to pay £50 compensation to his victim. 

STEVEN WOOD, of St Augustine Road, Southsea, pleaded guilty to stealing drinks valued at £4.25 from Co-op store in Southampton on January 21 2025. Remanded on conditional bail until July 2 2025.

WILLIAM MASON, 38, of Osborne Road South, Southampton, pleaded guilty to assault by beating in Southampton on March 17 2025. Also pleaded guilty to stealing football cards valued at £200 from BP garage in Southampton on March 16 2025. Remanded on unconditional bail until August 14 2025.

CARYL BYFORD, 38, of Bryce Gardens, Aldershot, pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified at Commercial Road, Southampton, on June 12 2025. Also pleaded guilty to drink driving at Charlotte Place, Southampton, on June 12 2025. Remanded on unconditional bail until August 14 2025.

AHAMED SHEKEEL CHERICODE MOHAMMED, 30, of Padwick Close, Basingstoke, pleaded guilty to driving with no insurance on M3 at Winchester. Fined £358 with £130 costs and £143 victim services surcharge. Driving record endorsed with six penalty points.

ALEXANDER HUSSEY, 32, of High Street, Warminster, Wiltshire, pleaded guilty to speeding on M27 at Fareham on November 12 2023. Fined £80 with £130 costs and £32 victim services surcharge. Driving record endorsed with six penalty points.

MICHAEL JACQUES, 57, of Primrose Hill, Newington, pleaded guilty to exceeding temporary speed limit on M27 at Hedge End on November 27 2023. Fined £100 with £130 costs and £40 victim services surcharge. Driving record endorsed with three penalty points.
