Live bands, market traders and thousands of shoppers descended on Southampton to celebrate the Bedford Place Summer Festival.

"We have DJs, dancers, and so many trader stalls. It is such a great even I would encourage anyone to come down.
"It is such a positive event for the city that gets locals engaging with some of the fantastic businesses we have here in Southampton."

Also putting smiles on faces with his brownies was Ben Hulkes, 29, from the Fine Brownie Co.
Ben Hulkes (Image: NQ) Ben said: "We have a bakery in St Mary's and we actually sell more than 3.000 brownies a day.
"Customers are loving our food here today. We need more festivals like this in Southampton, it's up to us as shopkeepers to give people a reason to come a check out what we do."
Selling his natural dog treats at the festival was Chris Lomax, 38.
