A Fareham pharmacy manager has been recognised national awards.
Katherine Mathews, a pharmacy manager and technician working at Everetts Pharmacy in Fareham, was awarded 'highly commended' in the Clinical Services Star category of the 12th annual Recognition of Excellence (RoE) Awards.
The judges said Katherine was "a clinical leader of services delivered in community pharmacy who embodies quality, outcomes focus, and patient care."
Her nominator also praised her, saying: "Katherine is a caring leader with excellent organisational skills, ensuring the pharmacy team works efficiently while bringing out the best in everyone."
The RoE Awards aim to recognise the achievements of key healthcare workers within the community pharmacy sector.
Monica West, editor of Training Matters and awards host, said: "The Recognition of Excellence Awards continues to be the only UK awards specifically highlighting the hard work of community pharmacy support staff, and that is something that I am very proud of."
