A care home is inviting the community to an open day.

Florence Court Care Home in Fareham will welcome guests with tea and cakes on June 28.

The event, from 10am to 4pm, will feature homemade cakes by the home's chef.

Visitors can meet the team and tour the home.

Sarah Lewis, general manager at Florence Court, said: "I’m excited about welcoming new visitors and existing friends of the home to our open day.

"Looking for care can be a little bit daunting, but our team here at Florence Court will do all we can to provide all of our guests with the guidance and support they may need, and answer all of their questions, big or small."

Florence Court is run by Barchester Healthcare and provides residential and dementia care.

The care home also provides a life enrichment programme for residents, offering a choice of physical, mental, and spiritual activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.
