Drivers are being warned of long delays on the M27 motorway this evening.
Those travelling westbound on the M27 this evening have been faced with streams of traffic and queues.
Drivers are down to speeds as low as 10 mph and the National Highway traffic cameras show traffic slowly moving across the Hamble river just past junction 8.

AA Traffic News is reporting: "Severe delays of 15 minutes and delays easing on M27 Westbound between J9 A27 Segensworth Link Road (Segensworth / Fareham) and J8 A3024 (Bursledon / Hamble).
"Average speed ten mph."
This comes as the M27 is already down to 50mph while National Highways undertake a large resurfacing project between junctions 5 and 8.
