Southampton City Council is considering reintroducing street drinking controls for another three years.
These would form part of a Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) and would include measures to address aggressive begging and drug misuse.
Areas previously covered by PSPOs to tackle antisocial behaviour include parts of the city centre, Bitterne, Portswood, Shirley, Woolston, and Mount Pleasant.
The consultation on these proposals is open until July 11.

The council is inviting the public to share their thoughts on the proposals, their potential impact, and any alternative suggestions.
Conservative opposition councillor at Southampton City Council, Cllr Jeremy Moulton, said: "There are a number of areas in the city covered by a PSPO, including Shirley, which also takes in Regents Park.
"I have completed the consultation, fully supporting the measures."
To participate, residents have been asked to complete a questionnaire to provide their views on the proposed measures. See southampton.gov.uk
