DON'T forget there is a performance of Murdered to Death, a comedy in the style of Agatha Christie to be performed by the Easton Garden Players. The play will run for three nights: July 4, July 5 and July 6. All proceeds will be donated to the St Mary's Church Fabric Fund. More details about the play will be published soon.
THE annual general meeting at Itchen Abbas and Avington Village Hall is just around the corner. On Saturday, June 28, at 7pm there will be a review of the year plans will be set out for the future and committee members will be elected to represent the local community. A SUMMER fete at the Worthies Sports and Social Club in Kings Worthy is looking for stallholders to step up. Stalls are £10 each and are around the size of a gazebo. Children’s activities are wanted, such as face painters. Vintage cars, vintage motorbikes and tractors are also of interest. You can promote your club or business by looking to perform to the crowd. THE Worthy Players will be holding their quiz evening on Saturday, June 21. Doors will open at 7pm at the Jubilee Hall in Kings Worthy for a 7.30pm start. It is open to the group's many supporters as well as its members. Come as a group of six or sign up to join an open table and make new friends. The price is £15 per table or £2.50 per person.
