A beloved great-grandfather and veteran has passed away at 102.
David (Dave) Charles Clark, who lived in Totton, was born in Brentford on 19 December 1922 and passed on June 4.
Dave fought in the Second World War as part of the RAF Regiment and in Burma.
He has lived in Totton since 2007, and regularly attended the Remembrance Day parade, bedecked in his medals.
He has five children, ten grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
His daughter and carer Vicky Day, said: "A brilliant dad, and a brilliant grandad.
"He will be very, very missed."

Dave was a well-known face around the Three Score Club, the community centre and Cafe Aroma.
He was one of the first to receive a letter from the king when he reached 100, and he was married to his wife, Sophia, for 72 years. She passed away in 2018.
Vicky recalls her father keeping up with woodworking, and he often went dancing with his wife.
She was also touched that someone had thoughtfully left flowers on a bench commemorating his 100th birthday.

"Everybody wanted to talk about the twinkle in his eye, his sense of humour," added Vicky.
"He would do anything for anyone. He was fun to be around.
"He was the type of person that when you met him, you would get very attached to him.
"He had that sort of character that people were drawn to."

He joined the Royal Air Force in 1942 and trained as an Air Gunner before being assigned to the RAF Regiment, though he would rarely talk about his experiences during the war.
He made aircraft components, including sections for the wings and fuselages of Mosquito fighter-bombers and plywood drop-tanks, and later served in the Burma campaign.
In November, he presented a wreath at the London Cenotaph on behalf of the Burma Star Memorial Fund, which Vicky said was a "moment to treasure."
Vicky added: "On behalf of the family, I would like to thank everyone for their kind messages and support on Pops’ peaceful passing."
A celebration of his life is planned on July 16 at the crematorium, and after at the Three Score Club.
