A speeding Audi driver has been banned from the roads after he was caught at 100mph.
Jonathan Beattie appeared before Southampton Magistrates’ Court on June 5.
The 27-year-old was driving an Audi on the M27 westbound between junction 10 and nine on May 16, 2024.
He was recorded at 100mph by an automatic camera device while driving near Fareham.
He was 30mph above the limit – a 70mph speed limit was in force on the Hampshire motorway at the time.

Beattie, of The Sawmills, Durley, pleaded guilty to a charge of speeding.
He was handed a driving ban of six months and given six points on his driving licence.
He must also pay a fine of £161, prosecution costs of £110 and a £64 surcharge.
He must start making payments by the beginning of July in monthly instalments of £100.
