A business networking expert is set to deliver a free workshop.

Stefan Thomas, a bestselling author and international speaker who has worked with BT and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, will host the event at Fareham Innovation Centre on June 17.

Stefan said: "Let’s face it, networking isn’t always easy.

"It can feel uncomfortable or unnatural, and lots of people worry about saying the wrong thing.

"But it really doesn’t have to be like that.

"This workshop is all about giving people the tools to walk into any room and start a conversation that leads somewhere."

The session, titled Every Big Opportunity Starts With a Little Conversation, is designed for business owners and professionals involved in sales or business development.

Attendees will learn how to deliver a confident 60-second introduction, choose the right networking events, and follow up effectively.

The workshop includes practical exercises, live feedback, and a buffet lunch.
