AA Traffic News is showing that delays have cleared on the A31:

They also added: "We were called at 1.13pm with reports of a fire along the central reservation on the A31 westbound near Burley. This incident was dealt with by the fire service and Highways."
In A statement, a spokesperson for Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "This afternoon our control team received over 150 calls reporting a fire in the central reservation, carriageway of the A3, Picket Post, just after 1pm.
Crews from Eastleigh and Hightown responded and used five hose reels to distinguish the fire. The incident stop message was at 2pm."
