A stylish alfresco pop-up bar and kitchen inside a converted vintage horse box has opened in the New Forest.
The Neigh Bar, inspired by the national park's native wild ponies, is serving up summery cocktails and small plates to tables of guests in the beautiful grounds of Careys Manor Hotel & SenSpa in Brockenhurst.
Open now until the end of September, the venue boasts a menu made for summer snacking with an enticing mix of small plates, sharers and flavour-packed skewers.

Highlights include salt and pepper squid with chilli jam, melon, Parma ham and burrata and a vibrant Panzanella salad with focaccia, tomato, and lemon vinaigrette.
Brochette skewers bring bold flavours – from king prawns and chorizo with harissa mayo to teriyaki pork belly with yuzu dressing – each served on soft flatbread.
Neigh Bar's drinks list also features something for everyone.

Beer drinkers can enjoy craft picks like Flacks Gold EPA from Romsey or a chilled Menabrea and if cocktails are more your style, enjoy seasonal crowd-pleasers like Aperol Spritz, Pimm’s, and Mojitos – all available by the glass or jug for easy sharing with family and friends.
From next Thursday (June 19), make a date in your diary for The Neigh Bar’s new weekly happy hour, every Thursday between 5pm and 7pm. Enjoy a selection of five delicious small plates, as well as a pitcher of Pimm’s or Aperol Spritz for two, from £50.
The Neigh Bar pop up is a new addition to the foodie offering at the four star hotel with 77 rooms and suites and a spectacular award-winning spa. The three permanent eateries are delectable modern British dining at Cambium, delicious Thai restaurant within the spa Zen Garden and authentic French cuisine at Le Blaireau, the little corner of France in the New Forest which has become a firm favourite over the years.
