Maritime professionals and companies have been recognised at the 2025 Seawork Awards.

The winners were announced on June 10, during a ceremony at the Waterfront Restaurant in Southampton.

The event marked the start of Europe's largest exhibition dedicated to the commercial marine and workboat sector.

The awards celebrate the exceptional individuals and innovative companies that contribute to the commercial marine industry.

The Society of Maritime Industries (SMI) sponsored the Innovation Showcase Category Awards, with winners receiving their awards from SMI's CEO, Tom Chant MBE.

The Innovation Showcase allows exhibitors to present the latest equipment, services, projects, and vessels introduced in the past year.

In the Innovations Category Awards, Vessev was recognised for its VS9 Electric Foiling Vessel in the vessel design and construction category.



Powerboat Training UK and Maritime received the marine equipment and electronics award for their cloud-based Harbour/VTS and RYA Radar simulation.

Teignbridge Propellers was awarded for their carbon fibre clamp on blade propeller in the marine power and propulsion (electrification and future fuels) category.

Viking Lifesaving Equipment was recognised in the security and safety category for their Cyclone YouSafe Immersion Suit, tailored specifically for women.

Delta Xero won in the environmental and renewable energy category for their nano-filtration of oils and fuels with a built-in water coalescer.

Loki Dynamics was presented with the Spirit of Innovation trophy for their revolutionary VR headsets, a seasickness solution.

Other awards celebrated achievements in different categories.

The Maritime Sustainability Award sponsored by GreenPort was given to Cetasol for their intelligent speed and fuel gauge project.

TMS received the Marine Civils Best Project Award for the Polperro Outfall Project.

The new 2025 Subsea and Underwater Intervention Award went to Atlantis Marine Power with WUWLED.

Sara Kapdi from Carnival received the Young Person's Development Award, and Mehmet Belibagli from Volvo Penta was named Maritime Professional of the Year.

Giles Barkley from Chartwell Marine was recognised for his outstanding contribution.

The Lifetime Achievement Award was split between Robin George from McMurdo and Frank Dixie from PSP Worldwide Logistics.
