A 12-year-old girl on an e-scooter has been seriously injured in a crash.
Police were called to reports of a collision at the junction of Kendal Avenue and Mansel Road West shortly after 6.30pm last night.
This involved a green Ford Fiesta and a black privately-owned e-scooter.
Police closed the road as they dealt with the ongoing incident.

Two 12-year-old girls from Southampton were on the e-scooter and suffered minor injuries.
One of the girls also sustained a serious arm injury.
The e-scooter was seized and the road was reopened just after 8pm, police told the Echo.
