Hampshire police officers have issued strong words of warning to prevent motorcycle theft in Southampton.
After receiving reports of a motorbike being stolen from Millbrook on Tuesday morning, officers managed receive support from the public and track down the bike following initial enquiries.
An investigation is now ongoing to identify the culprit.
A social media post from the Hampshire force has warned residents in Southampton to keep their bikes safe, issuing advice to those who ride them.

A spokesperson for Hampshire police said: "Motorbike theft is on the rise, but you can take simple steps to protect your ride.
"Always use a quality lock and secure your bike to a fixed object. Park in well-lit, busy areas with CCTV where possible.
"Fit an alarm or immobiliser to deter thieves. Never leave your keys in the ignition. Consider a GPS tracker for extra security. Cover your bike to keep it out of sight."
