A sporting scavenger hunt has brought generations together in a heart-warming day of fun and friendship in Southampton.
Hosted by Snowdrop Place, the event welcomed children from Pavilion Pirates pre-school for a morning of teamwork and laughter alongside care home residents.
The two generations teamed up to tackle a series of sports-themed challenges around the garden, promoting movement and connection in the fresh air.
A spokesman for Snowdrop Place said: "We loved seeing the energy and joy shared between our residents and the Pavilion Pirates.

"Days like this highlight the importance of community spirit and intergenerational events."
At the end of the scavenger hunt, each child was presented with a Barchester Get Moving certificate and a sweet treat to take home as a reminder of the day.
Snowdrop Place has thanked Pavilion Pirates for taking part and says it hopes to host similar intergenerational events in the future.
