A ladies only gym celebrated a successful opening event at the weekend, as it looks to offer a "safe space" to all women.
Personal trainers Hayley Rich and Cara Rowe launched Valkyrie Fitness at Drivers Wharf in Northam Road on Sunday, swinging open the doors to the public for the first time at 11am.
The two-floor premises spawned from an idea in March and has now been transformed into a full gym.
Strength machines, cardio equipment and room for classes promises to give women of any ability or age the opportunity to work out at various intensities.

"We're excited, but also very nervous, but also very excited to open."
The gym will have a particular focus on mental health and wellbeing with wellness days and seminars on subjects including the menopause and other women's issues.
