Hampshire police have issued an urgent appeal to the public to call 999 "immediately" if they see a missing man believed to be in Southampton.
Matthew Osborne, 33, was last seen on Oakmount Avenue in Totton at around 9am on Monday.
UPDATE: He has now been found.
He is white, around six-feet tall and of large build, with long brown hair and a beard.
Matthew is thought to be wearing a red t-shirt and he could be in the Totton or Shirley areas.
A spokesperson for Hampshire police said: "We’ve been carrying out a number of enquiries since he was reported missing and are now turning to the community for help.
"We’re growing concerned for his welfare and are asking anyone who has seen Matthew since he went missing or anyone who might know where he is now, to contact us immediately on 999 quoting 44250252575. "
