THE A31 has reopened after three days of closures following the discovery of a woman’s body.
The road first closed on June 7 after police discovered a body while searching for a missing woman, Yajaira Castro Mendez.
She was reported missing to the Metropolitan Police on May 31, having left her home in Ilford on May 29.

As reported by the BBC, Juan Toledo, 51, who lives in south-east London, appeared at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Friday, June 6.
He was charged with her murder and was remanded into custody, with Met Police saying the man charged was known to Ms Castro Mendez.
A spokesperson for the Met Police said Juan Toledo will next appear in court at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, June 10.
