AN inquest has opened into the death of a man found lifeless in Southampton Water.
Philip Brisdion, 57, of Candover Court, Weston, was discovered by the coastguard at Hook Buoy on January 7.
Speaking at Winchester Coroner's Court on June 9, assistant coroner Simon Burge gave the cause of Mr Brisdion's death as "immersion in water".
The full inquest will take place on July 17.
Mr Burge offered his sincere condolences to Mr Brisdian's family.
