A Porsche Cayenne was seized on Friday after the driver did not have a 'full licence'.

Officers spotted the black car in Whites Place car park in Gosport around 4.30pm.

The vehicle was stopped and three males were checked, with police finding that the driver did not have 'a full licence' and therefore had 'no insurance'.

A social media post from police said that "once he had removed some personal items from the car he, and his two friends, were left to get a lift home".

Recovery was called and the vehicle was seized, while the driver was reported for traffic offences and will receive a court summons.

Hampshire police told the Echo that costs are incurred for recovery and storage until someone with a full licence and insurance collects the car.

Points could be added to the driver's licence before he even acquires one if he is found guilty.
