The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court:
OLIWIA ZIELINSKA, 21, of Fishponds Road, Bristol, was found guilty of failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver in Fareham on September 5, 2023. She was ordered to pay a £660 fine and handed six points on her licence. She must also pay costs of £400 and a victim surcharge of £264.
DAVID LEACH, 31, of Ellwood Avenue, Southampton, admitted failing to surrender to custody at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on May 28, and a charge of failing to provide a sample while under arrest to determine whether he had taken Class A drugs, on February 25. He was handed an £80 fine and must pay a £32 surcharge.
STEVEN WOODCOCK, 30, of Bluebell Gardens, Hythe, pleaded guilty to shoplifting, after he stole electrical tape and Haribo sweets worth £2.50 from Poundland, cannabis possession, and a charge of possession of a knife after he was caught with a Stanley knife, all on April 7, 2024. He was given a year-long community order and must complete up to 15 rehabilitation activity requirement days. The knife and cannabis was forfeited and will be destroyed, and he must pay a £50 fine.

TROY FRANCE, 43, of Brooks Close, Ringwood, admitted harassment without violence after he sent a number of messages to a woman for more than three months last year. He was given an 18-month community order and must complete up to 26 rehabilitation activity requirement days and 150 hours of unpaid work. A restraining order was also imposed, preventing him from contacting the victim and entering a road in Bournemouth for two years. He must pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £114 surcharge.
PAIGE JAMES, 19, of Foundry Lane, Southampton, pleaded guilty to criminal damage, after she damaged a door, lamp, and bowl, and assault by beating, both between October and November 2024 in Southampton. She was given an 18-month community order and a six-month alcohol treatment plan. She must also complete up to 20 rehabilitation activity requirement days. She must pay a £50 fine and a £114 surcharge.
