The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court:
LUKE FORREST, 23, of Longleat gardens, New Milton, pleaded guilty to a charge of using a vehicle with tyres with insufficient tread after he was found to have a tyre on the rear side with a depth of 1.22mm when the minimum is 1.6mm. He also admitted a charge of exceeding a 40mph speed limit after he was recorded driving at 84mph on A337 Lymington Road, both on February 6, 2024. He was ordered to pay a £350 fine and given six points on his licence and must pay £110 prosecution costs and a £140 surcharge.
JASON CRIDDLE, 45, of no fixed address, admitted a charge of burglary after he entered as a trespasser into Compass Rock, Southampton, on May 28 and stole computer equipment. He was ordered to pay £350 compensation and a £80 fine. He must also pay prosecution costs of £85.

SOPHIE PRIDDLE, 36, Edelvale Road, Southampton, pleaded guilty to two charges of theft after she stole items worth £456.07 from Boots on Portswood Road on June 7, 2024, and items worth £188.10 from the same shop on June 10, 2024. She will appear before the same court on August 20.
CONNOR DAVIES, 30, of Jubilee Crescent, Wellingborough, admitted a charge of using a mobile device while driving a Ford on the M27 westbound between Hedge End and Eastleigh on January 24, 2024. He was fined £300 and given six points on his licence. He was ordered to pay £110 prosecution costs and a £120 surcharge.
BENJAMIN LODGE, 28, of Roselands Gardens, Southampton, pleaded guilty to a charge of driving without insurance on Botley Road in Romsey on May 11, 2024. He was given a six-month driving ban and six points on his licence. He was ordered to pay a fine of £750, prosecution costs of £110 and a £300 surcharge.
