According to reports the congestion on the M3 cleared by 9.51pm last night. The motorway remains clear this morning.

'Seven miles of near-stationary traffic'
Head of News Andrew Napier said there is "Seven miles of near-stationary traffic and, just now, 5.15pm, back onto the M27 slip road.
"The crashed cars have gone (it's in the Twyford Down cutting) and Highways England workers are sweeping up."
National Highways statement: 'Large oil fuel spillage across both lanes'
A spokesperson said: "Lanes 2 and 3 remain closed on the northbound carriageway of the M3 near Junction 11 after a collision, which also caused a large fuel spillage across both lanes.
"Traffic is currently passing the scene in Lane 1, but there are delays of over an hour, with queues stretching back to Junction 13."

Police: 'Three-car collision'
The police said: "A three-car collision on the northbound carriageway near J11 was reported at 2.14pm.
"No injuries were sustained, but two lanes were closed. Officers handed the scene over to Highways just after 3pm."
Police approached for comment
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary has been approached for comment, which we will bring you as soon as possible.
National Highways reports long delays
National Highways said: "There are currently delays of 1 and a half hours against expected traffic."

AA: 'Queueing traffic and two lanes closed'
The AA said: "Queueing traffic and two lanes closed due to crash on M3 Northbound at J11 A3090 (Winchester South).
"Congestion to J12 (Eastleigh). Cameras show lanes two and three (of three) are closed."
