Hamble Parish Council has launched its first Community Awards.
The new initiative aims to honour individuals and groups that make significant contributions to the village.
More than 20 nominations were received across three categories: Young Person, Group, and Individual.
Martha Hart, representing Hamble Primary School at the Cemex Inquiry, was named Young Person of the Year for her leadership and community care.
The Group Award went to the Hamble Conservation Volunteers, acknowledged for their behind-the-scenes work in protecting and enhancing the local environment.
Their efforts range from beach clean-ups and habitat management to community education.
Kay Baker received the Individual Award for her sustained commitment to supporting local residents, particularly those who are isolated or in need.
Her voluntary work, which spans various community events and initiatives, has helped foster connection and wellbeing in Hamble.
A spokesperson for Hamble Parish Council said: "This year marked the launch of the Hamble Community Awards, a new initiative established to recognise and celebrate the individuals and groups who contribute so much to our village.
"Each one highlighting the dedication, compassion, and community spirit that make Hamble such a special place to live and work."
The council thanked all who submitted or were nominated for their contributions.
