Lime Wood has become the first hotel in England to introduce a cutting edge facial treatment which strengthens the skin while enhancing gut health.
The GROUND Biome Facial is now available at Herb House spa at the luxury New Forest hotel.
Transformative 60 or 90-minute treatments honour the skin’s natural ecosystem while supercharging the microbiome.

Through probiotic-rich plant nutrition, lymph activating, and therapeutic massage techniques, this facial calms inflammation, strengthens the skin barrier, and supports skin longevity. Cooling therapy further recharges the skin.
The treatment also addresses areas where stress—often a root cause of gut and skin imbalances—can linger. Treatment of the abdomen, diaphragm, and décolleté encourages harmony between digestion, breath, and skin function.
(Image: Lime Wood Group) Peigin Crowley launched GROUND from her kitchen table in 2020, creating therapeutic self-care products focused on sleep, stress, and hormone health.
Since then, she has expanded into women’s health, cancer care, gut health, and lymphatic support, culminating in the 2025 launch of the Biome Skincare range, now available alongside the new treatment in the Herb House shop.
Treatments start at £140.
