Police dispersed several unauthorised encampments around Romsey on Wednesday, June 4.
Romsey Police invoked Section 60 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act at Braishfield, and later enforced the Test Valley Borough Council (TVBC) injunction at Romsey Rapids.
The same group unsuccessfully attempted to access an area in Ampfield.
The police stated: "We are fortunate that TVBC have this in place at a number of sites in the borough."
The group has now left the area, and neighbouring police forces have been informed.
The TVBC injunction is in place at various locations in the borough to handle such situations.
