A road in Portchester will be shut for a day for a pole replacement.
White Hart Lane will be closed between Sandport Grove and Wicor Mill Lane for the works, set to occur on June 21.
The closure, from 8am to 4pm, will allow Openreach to replace a pole safely.
An alternative route has been provided via White Hart Lane, Cornway Lane, A27, and Castle Street.
The shutdown, sanctioned by Hampshire County Council, may last up to six months if there are delays, but is expected to finish on the same day.
