A road in Marchwood is set to be temporarily closed for pole replacement.
Hythe Road will be shut between its junction with Veals Lane and a point 340 metres south for the works.
The closure, granted by Hampshire County Council, will be in effect on June 17, from 9.30am to 3.30pm.
The temporary order, made under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, will remain in place for up to six months or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner.
However, it is expected that the road will only be closed for the day.
An alternative route for drivers will be via Main Road, Marchwood Bypass, and Twiggs Lane.
The works are being carried out by Openreach to replace a pole.
