A family friendly festival promises a shared live experience as performers spill out of theatres into the borough of Eastleigh this weekend.

Unwrapped Festival will showcase high quality, hand-picked live performances, in Eastleigh town centre and Hedge End, alongside have-a-go creative activities, an arts and craft market and food stalls.

It takes place at Leigh Road Recreation Ground between 10am and 5pm on Saturday (June 7) and at Greta Park, Hedge End, at the same times on Sunday (June 8).

The festival is a vibrant and free celebration of outdoor arts.

Festivalgoers can enjoy performances and activities, including craft workshops, bubble discos, juggling sessions, and theatrical performances such as The Town Band of Bremen by The Fabularium and The Dragon Wagon by Jellyfish Theatre.

Charlotte Hall, artistic director at The Point Eastleigh, said: "Unwrapped Festival is a celebration of community and creativity.

"It's wonderful to see people of all ages come together to enjoy the arts in the borough’s beautiful outdoor spaces."
