The world's largest event for young carers is returning to Botley, Southampton, to mark its 25th anniversary.
The Young Carers Festival (YCF), scheduled to run from June 27 to 29, provides a lifeline for young carers who often feel isolated and unseen.
The festival offers them a chance to form friendships with peers who understand their struggles, while reducing stress and providing a rare opportunity for self-focus.
In celebration of the milestone, a travel bursary has been introduced to make the event more accessible for attendees.

YCF has been a beacon of hope for young carers for 25 years.
This festival is a break from their taxing responsibilities, providing a platform for them to connect with peers, recharge, and influence policymakers.
Phillipa Spicer, the CEO of YMCA Fairthorne Group, said: "The Young Carers Festival gives these hidden heroes the support, recognition, and connection they deserve.
"When we listen to young carers, we can change their lives for the better."
Media professionals are encouraged to attend the festival and share the heartwarming stories of young carers.
Live broadcasts from the event are encouraged.
The 2025 festival is supported by Silver Lining, Southampton Area Rotary Clubs, and the CareTech Foundation.
Their generosity allows for the provision of activities, entertainment, and necessary resources that aim to make a real difference in the lives of young carers.
