Hampshire police and council officials have shut down a troublesome home after reports of anti-social behaviour.

The property, on Keynsham Road, Bitterne, was causing issues, with a particular male being flagged to police by residents.

Authorities had previously conducted an anti-social behaviour survey in the neighbourhood to address concerns.

On Tuesday, June 3, both the police and council entered the property, changed the locks, and secured the premises.

A police spokesperson expressed gratitude to the community for their cooperation in resolving the matter adding: "Police had previously been in the area carrying out an ASB survey and engaging with local residents listening to their concerns.

"We thank those that engaged and provided information to the police, enabling us to work closely with council and resolve this issue."

A range of homes and lats are located on Keynsham Road and it is understood that the property seized by police is one of the flats.
