Three more arrests have been made in connection with an attempted murder investigation in Sarisbury Green.

The incident took place in Sarisbury Green on Thursday, May 29.

Police were called shortly after 3am to Montefiore Drive, where a pedestrian was hit by a dark-coloured car, believed to be an Audi, which did not stop.

The 38-year-old male victim was taken to Southampton General Hospital with serious, potentially life-changing injuries.

His condition is described as stable.

On Monday, June 2, two 18-year-old men from Fareham and Hamble were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder but later released without charge.

This morning, Tuesday, June 3, detectives arrested two 15-year-old boys and a 24-year-old man from Fareham.

The teenagers, from Fareham and Hedge End, were taken into custody on suspicion of attempted murder, causing injury through dangerous driving, vehicle interference, shop theft, and failing to stop following a collision.

All three remain in custody.

Officers are actively conducting house-to-house inquiries and are appealing for anyone with doorbell or dashcam footage to come forward.

The police are also keen to hear from anyone who believes they have been a victim of vehicle crime in the area.

The police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident and are urging anyone with relevant information to assist them.
