Young fans of CBeebies' Duggee can meet him at the Watercress Line.

The beloved dog is set to make an appearance on Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29 in Hampshire.

Youngsters can have their picture taken with Duggee at Ropley station, dressed as their favourite Hey Duggee character.

The event is part of the Hey Duggee Meet & Greet, which includes unlimited travel on the heritage railway's steam trains.

There are also various activities on offer, such as Hey Duggee colouring sheets, outdoor games, badge-making workshops and the Young Engineers activity trail.

The locomotive playground, miniature railway, carriage workshop and engineering viewing galleries will be open to the public.

Refreshments will be available at the West Country Buffet at Alresford, T-Junction at Ropley and Alton Kiosk, with gift shops open for visitors to purchase a memento of the day.

Rebecca Dalley, the Watercress Line's chief executive, said: "We’re very excited to welcome Duggee to the railway. He’s such a well-loved TV character, and we know our younger visitors - and their families - will be thrilled to meet him."
