An award-winning garden from the Chelsea Flower Show is being moved to a new home.

The Addleshaw Goddard ‘Freedom to Flourish Garden’, which was designed by Carey Garden Design Studio, is set to become a permanent feature at Honeypot House in the New Forest.

The garden had a successful appearance at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show, winning a gold medal, Small Garden of the Year, and Best Construction in the Small Show Garden category.

It is going to be a sanctuary for young carers aged five to 12 who are supported by The Honeypot Children’s Charity.

The garden, inspired by the landscapes of North Norfolk, is made from natural materials and has a calming atmosphere.

It features sandy tones, flowering grasses, and coastal-inspired plants.

Some of the young carers, volunteers, and the charity mascot Bumble, visited the garden at Chelsea before it was moved.

Aster Crawshaw, Senior Partner at Addleshaw Goddard, said: "We are delighted that our garden is being relocated after the show to Honeypot, our charity partner, where it will become an oasis of calm for young carers."

Honeypot House is also running a Summer Big Give appeal to raise £50,000, which will be matched by The Childhood Trust and the PAN Foundation.

This money will be used to fund residential respite and educational breaks for young carers, so they can enjoy the new garden at Honeypot House.

The Honeypot Children’s Charity supports young carers aged five to 12.

More information on their support for young carers can be found on their website: www.honeypot.org.uk.
