The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court:

ALFIE BAKER, 26, of Hillcrest, Bristol, pleaded guilty to a charge of criminal damage after damaging a window belonging to a woman, a charge of criminal damage after he smashed a window and doors worth £1,040, and a charge of threat to damage property, all in Brockenford Avenue, Totton on December 3, 2024. He also admitted a charge of criminal damage after damaging a Renault Clio worth £2,900 in Tamorisk Drive, Totton, a charge of cannabis possession in School Road, Totton, and a charge of criminal damage after damaging a Mini Cooper worth £2,000 in Tamorisk Drive, Totton, all on January 8, 2025. He was handed an eight-week prison sentence suspended for 18 months as it was a “pre-meditated revenge attack” and a spade was used. He is excluded from Totton for six months and will be monitored with a tag and must complete up to 25 days rehabilitation activity requirement days. A forfeiture and destruction order was made for the cannabis. He must pay compensation of £115, £700 and £1,040.

RYAN ENGLISH, 44, of Holmes Road, London, admitted a charge of failing to provide a specimen for analysis in Southampton on September 27, 2024. He was handed a 16 month driving ban and ordered to pay a fine of £200. He must also pay prosecution costs of £85 and an £80 surcharge.

JAVID MOHAMMADI, 27, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to two charges of common assault in Southampton on April 13, and a charge of criminal damage after he damaged a TV, air con unit, and hotel furniture items worth more than £5,000 a Highfield Hotel, Southampton on April 12. He admitted a second charge of criminal damage after damaging a bin worth £50 at the same hotel on April 13. He was handed a one-year community order and must complete up to 10 rehabilitation activity requirement days. He must pay a £114 surcharge.
