A FAMILY-friendly event which raised thousands last year is returning, aiming to be 'bigger and better'.
The Colour Run in Overton Cricket Club, hosted by GT Sports Academy, will return for its second year this summer.
Kicking off on Sunday, July 27, Tyler Bradley, co-founder of GT Sports Academy, says the event follows "good feedback" from the previous year's inaugural event.

He said: "Last year we raised a total of £1700 across a three hour period. We had so much good feedback from last year's event with hundreds saying what a great day they had.
"The run itself went fantastically, the food was great, and the sporty challenges were a great hit.
"One thing we learnt is that we can do even more sporting challenges and have even more stalls to keep people busy throughout the day.
"Hampshire cricket will be coming down and plenty more this year to make it an even more special day."
As well as this, Tyler explained how he plans to make the event "bigger and better" than last year.
He said: "This year, we are going to be going bigger and better with stalls and other stuff for the running of the day, Hampshire cricket will be a great addition which aligns very well with what our mission is behind the event.
"We are also going to be aiming to double the number of runners and guests throughout the day.
"Personally, myself and my team are extremely excited about this year's event, we have been planning this event since early this year.
"We have been working very hard on planning and marketing for the event, and we are very pleased to say all is going very well with that side.
"Last year, the buzz we had as a team was incredible, and I'm sure we didn't just make core memories for ourselves but also for everyone that attended."
The colour run is being held to raise money for Sporting Health, which is a charity set up by Tyler's GT Sports Academy to improve accessibility to sport for children.
Tyler said: "This year, we are raising money for Sporting Health, which is our new charity side of GT Sports Academy.
"The mission behind Sporting Health is to be able to make sport and exercise more accessible for all and to remove the financial barriers that stop children participating in sport.
"The money raised will enable us to be able to offer free and discounted spots on clubs and camps, along with funding kits and so much more."

Tyler concluded: "Our biggest goal is to double the number of people from last year.
"For runners, to have 150 would be great and 500+ attendees across the day. "
