Controversial plans to turn former quayside offices underneath a block of flats into a new cocktail bar and vape lounge have been withdrawn.
The Bar Syndicate Ltd previously submitted a change of use application to transform a unit in the Azera building in Centenary Quay on Capstan Road.
Documents said the venue would provide a "sophisticated and welcoming environment for customers to enjoy expertly crafted cocktails alongside a premium vaping experience".
But Centenary Quay residents did not take kindly to the plans, with 42 objections being left on the plan's portal page.

One local said: "Centenary Quay is a highly populated residential area where families live with children.
"There is already a huge concern regarding anti-social behaviour in Centenary Quay which will no doubt increase if this type of establishment is permitted to go ahead."
In documents attached to the plans, the business' operating hours were stated to be between 8am and 11pm Tuesday to Sunday, with extended hours until 2am on Friday and Saturday.
Tapas-style food could have been offered.
