Jurors have been sworn in ahead of the murder trial of a teenager.
Dominic Adeyemi, 18, of Holmes Close, Netley, has pleaded not guilty to murder after another teen was found with a stab wound on Station Road, Netley, at 6.26pm on Wednesday, December 18.
Despite the efforts of police and paramedics, Tawana Choruma, 19, was pronounced dead at the scene.
In front of a packed public gallery at Southampton Crown Court on Monday, a jury of 12 people were sworn in, picked at random out of a group of 20.

Judge Christopher Parker KC explained to the jurors they were not to discuss the case with anyone else outside the courtroom.
Prosecutor Sarah Jones KC is expected to give her opening statement on Tuesday morning, where she will lay out the prosecution case.
The trial is expected to last around two weeks.
