The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court:
MARC PALMER, 44, of Radcliffe Road, Southampton, admitted to three counts of theft from shops in Southampton, namely a multipack of Utterly Butterly worth £30 from Iceland, batteries worth £342 from ASDA, and detergent worth £29.50 from Sainsburys. Given a community order for one year and cannot enter the Asda on Portland Terrace, the Sainsbury on Bedford Place or the Iceland on Shirley High Street for a year.
PIOTR WOLOSZYN, 35, of Anglesea Road, Southampton, admitted to two counts of being in charge of a motor vehicle whilst over the limit of a controlled drug on November 10, 2024, on Landguard Road, Southampton. Namely 2.3 microgrammes per litre of blood of THC, exceeding the limit of two microgrammes per litre, and 75 microgrammes of MDMA per litre of blood, exceeding the limit of ten. Disqualified from driving for 18 months, and fined £250. Must pay court costs of £85.

CHARLIE TURNER, 25, of High Road, Swaythling, admitted to theft of two bottles of alcohol from John Lewis in Southampton on November 18, 2024. Given a conditional discharge of 12 months. Must pay a surcharge of £26.
DANIEL BRITTON, 43, of Mount Pleasant Lane, Lymington, admitted to being in charge of a motor vehicle on December 17, 2024, on Meadow Road, Pennington having consumed so much alcohol the proportion on their breath was 121 microgrammes per 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the prescribed limit of 35 microgrammes. Given a community order of 18 months, ten rehabilitation activity requirement days, and 200 hours of unpaid work. Also, their driving record was endorsed with ten penalty points. Must pay court costs of £85 and a surcharge of £114.
