Fire, police and ambulance services attended an incident which closed an Isle of Wight main road this afternoon (Sunday, June 1).
Newport Road in Ventnor was cordoned off between Lowtherville Road and York Road after a fire crew and police officers were called to assist ambulance services.
The incident led to significant disruption in the area.
Traffic mounted on both sides of the cordon, and the number 3 was diverted via West Street.

Hampshire and IW Constabulary said: "We were called at 2:17pm today (Sunday 1 June) with reports of a concern for welfare at an address on Newport Road in Ventnor.
"Emergency services have attended and located a woman in her 20s suffering from a medical episode.
"She has been taken into the care of the ambulance service and is being taken to hospital for treatment.
"Enquiries are underway to establish the full circumstances."
Hampshire and IW Fire and Rescue Service confirmed one crew from Newport attended the scene.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight NHS Trust have been contacted for a statement.
