Traffic appears to be very slow in Lyndhurst, whilst the A35 west of the village is closed.
The A35 is closed near Lyndhurst following a crash involving a car and a van.
Police arrived at the scene at 1.35pm, and five injured people have been taken to the hospital.
The A35 southbound is currently closed from Bank.
The A35 northbound is closed from Lyndhurst Road. Rhinefield Ornamental Drive is also closed in both directions.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "Please find an alternative route if possible and we will update you when the road has been reopened. Thanks for your patience."
