Members of the Romsey and District Chamber of Commerce and Industry gathered for their annual general meeting.
The AGM was held at the Royal British Legion Club in Romsey on Thursday, May 15, and served as a 'reflection' on the past year and a discussion on the future.
A chamber spokesperson said the coming year also 'promises to be one of excitement and change' for the business organisation.
A number of traditional chamber events will continue to run alongside plans for others, the organisation confirmed.

Sarbjit Nagra and Rita Kohli presented gifts to long-standing member Julian Gee. (Image: Romsey and District Chamber of Commerce) First Friday Drinks, a casual networking night held monthly at various venues, is set to continue, as will Brew & Business - the early morning networking event held bi-monthly at Romsey Town Hall sees guest speakers who include local business people.
The Romsey Food Fair event will return as will Saving Santa in September and December respectively.
Renowned and international chefs are expected to join the traditional Food Fair and provide live demonstrations.
The AGM also saw some changes to the executive committee.
Several Romsey business owners, both new and old, have joined the committee in various positions.
The new committee members are:
- President: Sarbjit Nagra, of Footner & Ewing Solicitors - Vice President: Rita Kohli, of The Mortgage Stop - Director: Philip Liddel, of Ace Liftaway Ltd - Treasurer: Deborah Rees, of AIMS Accountants for Business - Executive Member: Mary Greggins, who is the longest serving chamber member, having joined about 40 years ago - Executive Member: Adam Clemett, of Kit & Caboodle - Executive Member: Thomas Valois, of Viscreo IT Services - Secretary: Julie Doe
Mr Valois has been assisting the chamber with its upcoming modernisation of its website.
He intends to serve as a large-scale network for Romsey businesses all connected to the website, to aid in 'preserving Romsey's wonderful business community'.
The night also served as a final appreciation and thank you to long-standing member Julian Gee.
Mr Gee, who has been with the chamber for a decade in various roles including president, is due to stand down from the chamber.
In appreciation for his work, Ms Nagra and Ms Kohli presented him with gifts.
