Drivers are being warned of a major road closure in Fair Oak that is set to last for more than a month.
Delays are likely through the Fair Oak area while a major set of Southern Gas Network (SGN) works are set to take place in the coming weeks on Eastleigh Road.
These works will last for more than four weeks, with the start date currently planned for Tuesday, July 26.
It is understood that SGN will be undertaking utility repair and maintenance works on the road which are due to be lifted on Monday, September 1.

Those on foot are also being advised to avoid the area as the road works will also affect the footpaths in the area.
A diversion route has been set up that takes drivers onto the B3354, then turning onto Sandy Lane which then re-joins Eastleigh Road.
Motorists are being warned to expect delays through the area.
