A group of travellers have been ordered to leave a green area near to West End.
Since Wednesday, May 28, a large group of around 30 vehicles just off Chalcroft Way.
This comes after travellers broke into Itchen Valley Country Park in West End on Tuesday.
Today, West End and Horton Heath county councillor, Steve Broomfield said: "I understand that council officers from Eastleigh Borough Council have served the group a notice of leave at 4pm today.
"The council have done what they can to secure the site but a lock was cut off and the gate opened."

A group of travellers also set up near the Hamble School at Mount Pleasant Playing Fields.
A police spokesperson said: "We continue to work closely with our partners, including the local authority, to reach a suitable resolution.
"Officers continue to visit the site and engage with both the local and travelling communities."
